Priyanka specialised in cinematography from Whistling Woods International and further enhanced her skills by assisting in films and commercials for a few years. She has worked in films such as Shanghai, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Ugly, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, and Baaghi. She is also one of the few women in India to have worked as a gaffer in the industry. She was a gaffer in various commercials and films such as the French production Tout La Haut with cinematographer Remy Chevrin.

 

Her independent work includes a wide array of projects such as documentaries, short films, episodic, and commercials. Her work is streaming on various platforms such as Netflix, Eros Now, and Jio Cinema. She shot the India portion for two episodes of the popular series Indian Matchmaking. Her short film Sunny Side Upar is part of the Netflix anthology Zindagi in Shorts. With over a decade of experience in cinematography, Priyanka forayed into the field of direction a few years back. Her first short film Maunn, streaming on Eros Now and  Jio Cinema, won best short film at the Oscar-qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

 

Her latest documentary Kicking Balls for Sikhya Entertainment is in competition at NYIFF where her short film Together is also screening. 

 

Priyanka is actively engaged in communities such as Indian Women Cinematographer's Collective, Free The Work(US), and Primetime Network(UK).
